Ain’t No Use

By Jim Crozer

Well, I stayed too long in bed last night, ‘Cause I was alone,

Didn’t get to work last night, didn’t play no songs,

Now I’m feeling bad, said I’m feeling so upset,

Gettin nothin done today, got just one more cigarette.

It Ain’t no Use to Me now, no ya ain’t no use to me now.

You know I used to wonder where you’re commin from, babe,

now I wonder where you’re gone.

If I didn’t like this old guitar so much, I’d go and get a pawn

Ticket on it so I could ride in a taxi,

When I leave this old hole, to find someone else to take your place,

It ain’t no use to be now, no it ain’t no use to me now,

Your worry ain’t no use to me now, ‘cause you’ gone.

Mary when you went away, you know I cried for a little while

Tried to smoke myself to death, even tried that little vial

Of poison that I tried to take away from you when you

found me here with Sue,

And now the both of you are gone,

I say there’s nothing left for me to do,

It Ain’t no Use to Me now, it ain’t no use to me now,

Your worry ain’t no use to me now, ‘cause you’ gone.

Yea you’ gone away,

Yea you’ gone away,

Yea you’ gone away,

You make me feel so bad, I hope you feel (well) Alright!
